Holidays in Kyrgyzstan (June 9th to 19th)

On the bus to Issyk Kul

Picnic lunch on the way.

I just love playing in water. Daddy says this is cleaner than the toilet.

My Daddy loves me.

More water to play with.

Daddy likes playing with the water too.

Is that how you do it Daddy?

This is how I play with water and with dirt too.

Mud is fun.

Check out the mountains in the background!

I love you too.

And all of you.

This is fun.

My Mummy loves me.

And I love her too.

I had my first birthday

On Monday it was a special day. When I woke up in the morning Mummy, Daddy and Abigail showed me pictures and videos from the day that I was born one year ago. I liked it, I was smiling. I was very tiny, but Mummy says I was very big. Abigail thinks I was tiny too.
Then later in the day some friends came to our house. Sophie is a baby girl who is younger than me. I like playing with her. Mummy made a cake like a truck. My relatives in Australia came on the computer. Mummy put a candle in the cake. Then everybody sang Happy Birthday to me. I like that too.

I couldn't work out why everyone wanted to blow out the candle. It was so pretty. The chocolate cake Mummy made was so yummy that I got blue all over my face. I also got some nice birthday presents from Mummy and Daddy, Abigail, and my friends Sam and Sophie.

I hope you like the photos.

I have arrived.

Hello, my name is PJ. Thanks to God for bringing me into this world so smoothly. My Mummy was very relieved when her 10 hour labour was over. Mummy was quite surprised to find out that I already weigh 4.6 kgs. Daddy gave Mummy a high five for pushing me out cos I'm so big! I came into the world at 5:38 pm on January 17th, 2010.
My big sister Abigail was so happy to meet me and commented that my fingers are so tiny. Abigail got so excited when I grabbed her finger. I liked doing that. Abigail told me "I like you PJ." It's nice to be loved. :)

Told you I'm big. Daddy thinks I'll pack it on quickly too.

I hope you like my name. Patrick displays some of my Irish heritage, it means "noble". (I also have German and English heritage.) Joel is a Hebrew name and displays my heritage in God's Kingdom. Joel means "Jehovah is God."
All tucked in for my first night's sleep.

These clothes are 0000, but I will grow out of them very soon. I am already 53 cms long and they are made for up to 54cms. Looks like Mummy and Daddy will have to buy me some 000.

This is just to show that Daddy is going to be egalitarian when it comes to letting me choose football codes. He still thinks Aussie Rules is best though.
Face scrunch, mmmm.

My Daddy loves me.

Here I come

My Daddy says that I could enter the world in less than 15 days. Lots of people are wondering when I will arrive. My Mummy is very tired of carrying me around, I guess I will have to give her a break from carrying me so much. I can't wait to meet my big sister Abigail.
Since there are so many of you, please introduce yourself to me.

Love,

Little baby PJ.
