Crawling not running to my hiding spot

The other day Mummy could not find my sippy cup anywhere. She looked all over the kitchen, on the table, on the floor, in the fridge, in the sink, under the couch, in the cupboard with the other cups, it was nowhere to be found. Mummy gave up looking. Then a little while later I crawled into the kitchen up the drawer where the pots are. I like to play with the pots, pull them out and bang them. It's a great drawer. I decided to keep my drink there and then I would be able to find it when I am thirsty. So I had a drink. And then I put my cup back in the drawer again.

My Aunty Heather in Canada send me some clothes. Some jeans and a hockey shirt. It doesn't belong to any hockey team. Daddy said I looked more Canadian wearing the hockey shirt than in my "Canada Eh!" clothes or my Roughriders outfit.
Contrary to some impressions from photos, I am not walking yet. I have taken some steps, but I really prefer to go crawling instead. It's so much faster, why doesn't everyone do it? Whenever someone tries to make me stand I sit down again. I can do it but I simply choose not to.

I had my first birthday

On Monday it was a special day. When I woke up in the morning Mummy, Daddy and Abigail showed me pictures and videos from the day that I was born one year ago. I liked it, I was smiling. I was very tiny, but Mummy says I was very big. Abigail thinks I was tiny too.
Then later in the day some friends came to our house. Sophie is a baby girl who is younger than me. I like playing with her. Mummy made a cake like a truck. My relatives in Australia came on the computer. Mummy put a candle in the cake. Then everybody sang Happy Birthday to me. I like that too.

I couldn't work out why everyone wanted to blow out the candle. It was so pretty. The chocolate cake Mummy made was so yummy that I got blue all over my face. I also got some nice birthday presents from Mummy and Daddy, Abigail, and my friends Sam and Sophie.

I hope you like the photos.
